The Barefoot Book of Pirates

It is very difficult to find Pirate stories that don't glorify violence and gore, especially for elementary-aged kids. Many are just not appropriate for younger ones. Not only does "The Barefoot Book of Pirates" focus on the adventure aspect of Pirate stories, it contains tales from around the world. These stories capture your youngster's imagination and offer a terrific introduction to international folktales.

"The Barefoot Book of Pirates" is a bold, colorful and a refreshing option to offer your Pirate enthusiast. The book is billed as appropriate for ages 9 +, but my younger kids thoroughly enjoy it.
