Makin' Muffins

And what's Thanksgiving without a mention of food? In our house, everyone wants to get in on the cooking fun, so this book made a wonderful early holiday gift for my children.

The book includes 12 easy and delicious recipes for mini-muffins, which run the gamut from a breakfast of Good-Morning Orange Muffins to a supper side dish of Crazy About Corn Muffins. The book also includes plenty of baking tips and definitions, safety lessons and a list of tools for those new to the kitchen. And, if mixing blueberries into batter isn't fun enough, there are plenty of cooking jokes to entertain even the most "seasoned" baker. The book comes with an aluminum tin which can hold a dozen mini-muffins for baking, so arm yourself with vegetable oil spray (the recommended way to grease the tin!) and get ready for a warm treat - and some family fun in the kitchen.
