Max's Christmas

Max and big sister, Ruby, anxiously await Santa's arrival. Max, though, isn't content to just wait. He peppers Ruby with a million questions; why can't I see him? why do I have to go to sleep?, until at last Ruby gives the only answer she can.............because.

Max is not so easily put off, though. He wants to find out for himself what is going on with Santa and why kids aren't supposed to see him. Imagine his surprise when he finds Ruby wasn't wrong after all!

This is a fun book for beginning independent readers, or to read to a younger child. Max's questions and expressions are familiar to every child that ever wondered about Santa or experienced the excitement of the holiday.
