Mr. Putter and Tabby Bake the Cake

Mr. Putter LOVES Christmas. He loves to find just the right gift for each of his friends. In fact, in July, he starts planning what he will give everyone. His neighbor, Mrs. Teaberry, however, presents a bit of a problem. She likes very unusual things, like coconuts made into monkey heads, walking saltshakers, and strangest of all.....fruitcake! So Mr. Putter sets out to make his dear friend a memorable gift, a homemade cake that is light, airy, and won't break her foot if dropped. There is just one small problem....Mr. Putter can't bake!

Your beginning reader will laugh their way through this book. This sweet story of giving from the heart is told in such a tongue and cheek manner, that the grownups end up laughing just as much as the kids!
