Music Ace

A few months ago, I received what I thought might be just another piece of direct mail. But something caught my attention--was it “Music Ace: Winner of 28 Awards and Honors” or “This CD ROM Makes Learning Music Fun!”? Whatever it was, it made me open the envelope and place an order.

My 10-year-old daughter (a second-year piano student) couldn’t wait to try it, hoping it would be everything that it promised, and we definitely weren’t let down!

Twenty-four self-paced lessons and games teach the fundamentals of music and develop music skills in listening, note reading, piano keyboard, treble, bass, and grand staffs, loud and soft, pitch, octaves, half and whole steps, sharps, flats and key signatures.

Each lesson is built on the previous one, and a game follows each lesson so you can practice what you have learned.

Music Ace also offers a unique Music Doodle pad that lets you experiment with what you’ve learned. You can create musical compositions (and save them) with a variety of instruments or listen to examples of songs that have already been created on the Jukebox.

Requiring no music experience, Music Ace is ideal for beginning music students young and old. And above all, IT IS FUN! Never in its case at our house, it’s the product that my daughter plays most.

A ‘must have’ for your home/school software library, this is the best music software available.
