Egg Safety


Don't buy broken eggs.

Keep eggs in their original cartons and stored in the refrigerator.

Don't wash the eggs.

Don't keep raw or cooked eggs out of the refrigerator for more than two hours.

Don't eat raw or foods containing raw eggs (ex. cookie dough).

Cook eggs thoroughly

Foods prepared with eggs need to be cooked and served immediately.

Eggs and egg dish leftovers should be used within 3-4 days. Hard cooked eggs will keep refrigerated for one week.
