Torn Paper Cross

Bear with me on this as I try to describe the process for this amazing, one-tear paper-folding activity. Take a piece of paper about 6" by 8". Label the following points
the first time through. After that, you won't need to for future crosses.

A________B
I I
I I
I I
2I I 1.
I I
I________I
3
Fold corner A to point 1. Then fold corner B to point 2. Then fold the whole thing in half along an imaginary line from the `peak' to point 3.

C/I
/: I
/ : I
/ : I
/ : I
/ : I
I : I
I : I
I_____:_I
D
Tear straight down from C to D and unfold your cross! (My graphics are just to give you an idea...not to prove any kind of great computer word processing skill--obviously! :)
