Step 7: Wrap neck with doubled carpet thread or matching thread and tie off in the back. The neck should measure about 7" around.

Step 8: Thread a long thin needle, that fits through the button shrank, with 36" of carpet thread doubled. Tie one button to end of threads.

Step 9: Measure from the base of the ear down head about 2" and insert needle. Pull needle out the other side in the same position. Pull thread to position the first eye button.

Step 10: Thread second button onto needle and hold eye in position.

Step 11: Reinsert needle behind second eye button and exit needle behind first eye button. Do not try to re-enter the button shank. Pull thread tightly to form raised nose area. Repeat 2-3 times to secure eyes. Do not cut thread.
