Roller Rockets

Materials:
empty paper towel or gift wrapping rolls
paint
construction paper
clear packing tape
orange and red streamers
glue, stickers
scissors

Paint the empty roll and allow to thoroughly dry. Trace the rim of a small glass onto construction paper and cut out. Make a single cut in the paper from the outer edge to the midpoint. Roll the construction paper into a conical shape and affix onto the roller using packing tape (this is the nose cone). Cut several short lengths of streamers and glue to the interior of the roller's bottom (these are flames from ignition). Once the glue has dried, decorate with stickers and launch the rocket using imagination power.
